Job Summary: The Security Operations Director will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing customers information security program. This role involves
overseeing the security of information systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and mitigating security risks. The Security Operations Director will work
closely with customers security teams to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive information security operations
strategy. - Oversee the management of security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
- Lead incident response efforts and manage security breaches and incidents.
- Collaborate with customers and other IT departments to ensure the security of information systems and data.
- Provide guidance and training to team members on information security best practices.
- Stay up to date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.
- Report on the status of the information security operations program to senior management.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in information security, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Security Operations Director or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of information security management frameworks (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001, NIST).
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are highly desirable.
